面朝大海

等他打著赤腳回來
看他
喂馬劈柴。

Haizi
But on that side he is still
Having his soliloquy
Facing the sea.
I have to wait
Till spring comes with blooms
And he returns barefoot,
And watch him
Feeding his horse and chopping wood.
* Haizi/海子 (March 24, 1964 to March 26, 1989), formerly known as Cha Haisheng, was born in Chawan village, Gaohe Town, Huaining County, Anhui Province, an outstanding Chinese contemporary young poet. On March 26, 1989, he committed suicide by lying on a track near Shanhaiguan(山海關(guān)). He was only 25 years old.

程家惠，右江民族醫(yī)學院教授。主持教育部項目《梁宗岱詩作英譯研究》的研究，其中一些詩譯已在美國一家詩刊上不定期發(fā)表。譯著《中國經(jīng)典古詩詞精選100首英譯》已在美國出版。另有詩作和詩譯散見《中詩網(wǎng)》、《中國作家網(wǎng)》、《譯原電子雜志》、《長江詩歌》、《山東詩歌》、《詩殿堂》和《月印無心佛教文化》等。
