翻譯隨筆

       第一次聽到Million Years Ago這首歌時，內(nèi)心就產(chǎn)生了翻譯的沖動。歌曲旋律采用黯淡的小調(diào)，向聽眾傾訴對逝去時光的追憶與不舍。歌曲旋律是否符合譯入語受眾審美習(xí)慣是譯成漢語后能否傳唱的基礎(chǔ)性環(huán)節(jié)，也是譯者進(jìn)行文本選擇首先應(yīng)考慮的要素。其次，中文歌詞的譯寫若能始終遵循“統(tǒng)攝原意另鑄新詞”原則，時刻注重歌詞畫面感的營造，才能進(jìn)一步在譯入語受眾中激發(fā)共鳴。拙譯將let my heart decide the way譯為“任心靈指引我方向”，I wish I could live a little more譯為“多希望生命再開扇窗”，I miss my mother譯為“留戀媽媽懷里的香”，They can't look me in the eye. It's like they're scared of me譯為“期盼故友再相認(rèn)，眼神卻難碰撞”等等，都在時刻秉持這一翻譯原則。
