等你，在橋上
在玉蘭掩映的拱橋上
你走過我身邊
深情一望
從此，那眼神就讓我迷惘
等你，在橋上
在荷花滿塘的拱橋上
你走過我身邊
嫣然一笑
從此，那笑就占滿我心房
等你，在橋上
在百合遍岸的拱橋上
你走過我身邊
滑落了披肩
從此，我就仔細(xì)把它珍藏
等你，在橋上
在放眼杜鵑的拱橋上
你走過我身邊
我遞過披肩
這一次，你停住了腳
你問我為何一直走上這座橋
我說等你
我問你為何一直來到這座橋
你說等我
人生這座橋
它的名字叫緣份橋
真誠與忠貞的腳步
定會走出一串愛的等號

I’m waiting for you on the bridge --
an arched bridge shaded by magnolias
You walk by
giving me an affectionate look
Since then, that look has mesmerized me
I’m waiting for you on the bridge --
an arched bridge with a pool of lotus flowers underneath
You walk by
bestowing on me a charming smile
Since then, that smile has taken my whole heart
I’m waiting for you on the bridge --
an arched bridge with lily-covered banks
You walk by
and your scarf slips off
Since then, I’ve carefully kept it with me
I’m waiting for you on the bridge --
an arched bridge with a full view of azaleas ahead
You walk by
and I hand over your scarf
This time, you’ve stopped walking
You ask me why I always come onto this bridge
I say I am waiting for you
I ask you why you always come onto this bridge
you say you are waiting for me
This bridge in our life
is called the Bridge of Karmic Marriage
on which, our sincere and loyal footsteps
will surely imprint the equal sign of love

牢牢地扎下根

不斷健壯自己
把你帶到九宵云梢

身雖已斑駁
心卻更緊貼

你拉著我
在蒼茫人世間
留下一道美麗風(fēng)景
2. The Tree and the Vine
If I love you
I will
root deeply and firmly
to set up without any prop
a body for you to hold on to
If I love you
I will
straighten up my back
for you to lean on
whether there is wind or rain
If I love you
I will
work hard to absorb nutrition
and strengthen myself
so I can bring you up to the sky
By then
although my body is scarred and mottled
our hearts will be closer
I will hold on to you
and you will hold on to me
to leave behind us a beautiful scene
in the vast world

作者簡介
徐英才，原復(fù)旦英語教師，現(xiàn)美國德寶大學(xué)漢學(xué)老師，華人詩學(xué)會會長，漢英雙語紙質(zhì)詩刊《詩殿堂》總編，有多部譯著出版，其中漢英譯著《英譯唐宋八大家散文精選》和《英譯中國經(jīng)典散文選》曾由中國贈送美國林肯中學(xué)。
Xu Yingcai, a former Fudan English teacher, now a teacher of Chinese Studies in DePaul University, President of Chinese Poetry Association, and Editor-in-Chief for Poetry Hall – A Chinese and English bilingual journal, has multiple translation books published. His translations Selected Translation of Eight Tang & Song Prose Masters and Selected Translation of Chinese Prose Classics were once the gifts Chinese government gave to Lincoln High School USA.
朗誦者簡介
李莉，畢業(yè)于北京大學(xué)計算機(jī)科學(xué)技術(shù)系軟件專業(yè)。1999年從北京移民加拿大?，F(xiàn)在多倫多某保險公司任數(shù)據(jù)架構(gòu)師，從事數(shù)據(jù)交易數(shù)據(jù)倉庫等數(shù)據(jù)模型的研究設(shè)計和建立。華詩會理事，雙語紙質(zhì)詩刊《詩殿堂》編輯。數(shù)與字皆喜，文與理兼修，在知識的海洋里浸其內(nèi)，樂其中!
Lily Li，graduated from Computer Science and Technology of Beijing University, she immigrated to Toronto from Beijing in 1999. As a Data Architect, she is engaged in data model architectural design and establishment at an Insurance company. She is a board committee member of Chinese Poetry Association，and an editor of Chinese and English bilingual Poetry Hall journal. She is interested in both numbers and words, and likes to learn both science and literature, she enjoys the good time of diving and swimming in the ocean of knowledge.
