Eight Poems by Bai Shui He

（選自《詩殿堂》第八期）

白水河的詩用唯美、浪漫、電影蒙太奇般連續(xù)的現(xiàn)實(shí)景物展現(xiàn)內(nèi)心復(fù)雜的意識流動，具象描寫融合抽象隱喻通往意識象征境界，以詠嘆調(diào)般的吟唱，抒發(fā)對世界和人生的深切感悟 (摘自李詩信評語)。

Bai Shui He’s poems show the inner complex flow of consciousness via the presentation of scenes of aesthetics, romance and montage. The concrete descriptions integrated with the abstract metaphor lead to the realm of symbolic ideology; her poems resemble an aria, expressing her thoughts of the world and life (Comments by Li Shixin).

水

雨水河水海水……

天下的水

都有一種本領(lǐng)—自愈

抽刀不斷

且不留

傷痕

水是最好的藥

每天我外用內(nèi)服

接納、寬恕

受傷七次

或七十個七次

仍完整如水

Water

Rain water, river water, sea water...

All of the water in the world

Has the same ability — self healing

Even the sharpest sword fails to cut it open

Or gives it any

Scar

Water is the best medicine

Every day, I drink it, use it

With acceptance and forgiveness

Even if I am hurt seven times

Or seventy times seven

I am still whole as water

在荷田

荷被還原成荷

逃避光環(huán)和贊美

高上去高上去

高過綻放、凋落思生命之循回

In the Lotus Field

Here, lotus is restored into lotus

Fleeing from the halo of praise

I am restored into me

Distancing from hullabaloo, off my guard

Bend down, down

Down further to a lotus bloom

To appreciate the nobility of life

Rise up, up

Up beyond the blooming and fading of flowers

To ponder over the cycle of life

芙蓉樹

我只是想起

那兩排芙蓉樹

開花的季節(jié) 我到達(dá)那里

告別時(shí)

暗藏的花兒等待新的面孔

多年之后芙蓉樹仍站立

鐵打的校園收割流水的青春

而我的青春

定格在遙望紫金山的時(shí)刻

淡淡的向往、迷離

被風(fēng)的手指翻閱撫慰

又存積

歸來時(shí) 我變成一個局外人

在陌生的人流尋找自己的痕跡

曾經(jīng)的停留成為驛站

而我那漸遠(yuǎn)的故鄉(xiāng)

和越來越陌生的異鄉(xiāng)啊

在世間我沒有根

不如芙蓉一棵

A Hibiscus

I just think of

The two rows of hibiscus

In the flowering season I arrived there

When I was leaving

Those latent flowers were awaiting new faces

Many years later, those hibiscus trees are still there

The iron-like campus harvests flowing youth

And my youth

Was fixed at the exact moment

Of gazing at the Purple Mountain from afar

The slight longings and bewilderment

Were flipped through by the fingers of breeze, soothed

And piled up

I return as an outsider

Among the streaming strangers, I am looking for my trace

All those stopovers become post stations

Oh, my hometown that is distancing from me

Oh, this country where I sojourn is getting unfamiliar

In the human world I am rootless

Inferior to a hibiscus

窗里的天空

常常倚窗望那一方天空

因著遙遠(yuǎn)的召喚

順著飛鳥和浮云的去向

解不出遠(yuǎn)山排列的方程

風(fēng)要去往何處這般匆匆

樹們默然佇立

歲月是一支黃綠的彩筆

舊時(shí)相識舊時(shí)相識

其實(shí)我什么也沒看懂

常常倚窗望那一方天空

濃濃的思緒漸漸稀釋

不再洶涌

多少個日子就這么過去

全無詩意

那天我是一株水仙

靜靜地長在窗前

守著陽光

守著月色

守著那一方無言的天空

The Sky Window-framed

Very often, leaning upon the window I gaze into the sky

Due to a remote calling

My gaze follows the flight of birds and floating clouds

The mysterious array of distant hills

The unknown whereabouts of the wind, in such a hurry

Trees standing in solemn silence

Time is a crayon of green and yellow

Oh, old acquaintances, old acquaintances

I see what I see, actually I don’t see at all

Very often, leaning upon the window I gaze into the sky

My strong longings getting subdued

No longer cause a stir

Just like this, so many days are gone forever

No poetic feelings

That day I, a daffodil

Quietly grew by the window sill

Basking in the sunshine

Basking in the moonlight

Basking in the speechless sky

遠(yuǎn)方

山之外仍是山嗎

就像歲月之外仍是歲月

遠(yuǎn)方在前路似乎很長

青春是唯一的行囊

風(fēng)中黑發(fā)如一面旗幟

腳步敲醒露珠的睡意

雖然也會彷徨

但遠(yuǎn)方之神秘如激情的召喚

走了許久才發(fā)現(xiàn)

無論如何虔誠地緊捧雙手

總有許多重要的內(nèi)容

從指縫滑落

遠(yuǎn)方之無情

如流水如時(shí)光

踏月而行踏水而行

每一步都有什么被踩入泥土

那么腳印中會不會長出

粉柔的小花

在回望時(shí)

輕輕搖動遠(yuǎn)方之從容

當(dāng)暮色襲來

允許我駐足聆聽遠(yuǎn)山

仿佛有掌聲在白發(fā)間回蕩

濺起一片多皺的往事

我們將走進(jìn)夜

走進(jìn)思念直到被忘卻

而遠(yuǎn)方仍令人心酸地年輕

遠(yuǎn)方之遠(yuǎn) 一生不能及

也許我與她的距離

從未縮短

通向遠(yuǎn)方的這段路

卻是注定的旅程

The Horizon

Are there mountains beyond mountains?

Just like there are years beyond years

The horizon is ahead, the road seems too long

Youth is the sole belonging

In the wind, black hair flutters like a flag

Footsteps drive away the sleepiness of dews

Although I was hesitant

Yet the mysteries at the distance lured me like passion did

After quite a tramp did I come to understand

No matter how piously and tightly I hold my hands

There are always some contents of great value

Slipping through my fingers

The horizon is relentless

As the running water, as time

With every step under the moon, every wade

Something is trodden into the soil

Well, from each footprint can spring

Tiny flowers of tender pink?

Flowers that sway calm lure of the horizon

Softly at me when I gaze back

When dusk falls

Allow me to halt, to listen for

Applause from the distant mountains

That echoes between grey hairs

Splashing past events full of wrinkles

We will be walking into night

Into longing until into oblivion

But, to my poignancy, the horizon is still youthful

The horizon is unreachable in one life

Perhaps, the distance between me and her

Is never shortened

But, the road toward the distance

Is a journey predestined

窗外

我的窗像一個熒屏

流轉(zhuǎn)著清晨到日落的光影

漂浮過各種形狀的云朵

樹們靜默不語只悄悄變幻了顏色

匆匆行過的車

每一個冰冷堅(jiān)硬的外殼

都承載著柔軟的悲歡離合

而路過的人每一天都是新的嗎？

我一個也不記得

就像行人不會留意一扇窗

我看窗外的時(shí)刻

時(shí)光流走了

歲月刻上我的額

仿佛窗也在看我

Outside My Window

My window is like a fluorescent screen

On which float light and shadows from dawn to dusk

As well as clouds of all shapes

The trees are standing still, but changing color gradually

Each of the passing cars

Has a cold and hard shell

That protects and shelters soft joys and sorrows

What about the passers-by? Are they new each day?

I remember none of them

Just as none of them will notice a window

While I am gazing out of the window

Time slips by

And engraves on my forehead

The window seems to be gazing at me too

五月的告白

蜜蜂對紫藤的告白

是嗡嗡的低語和親吻

五月的風(fēng)搖動她的鈴

她的芳香

我的告白

是細(xì)數(shù)她的濃紫淡紫淺粉

她飄落在地的小小花瓣

和粗糙扭曲的藤

是追溯她的故土

她的冬天

以及所有不開花的日子

Confessions in May

The bees’ confession to wisteria

Is humming whispers and kisses

The breeze in May shakes her bells

Wafts her sweet scent

And my confession is

To gaze at her dark purple, light purple and pink

Her tiny petals aground

And rough twisted vines

Are to trace back to her homeland

Her winter

And all the days with no blooms

樹的生命

在冬天到來之前

我高舉著花朵

注定要枯萎、落地的花朵

即使被摧殘被落葉

我不想成為別的什么

因?yàn)槭ヒ彩且环N生活

安慰我的總是陽光和雨水

你看那空中和落地的水

抽刀不斷

The Life of a Tree

Before winter comes

I hold high flowers

That are destined to fade and fall aground

Even if devastated and stripped off leaves

I don’t want to be something else

For losing is also a way of life

What comforts me is always sunshine and rainwater

Behold, the water in the air and the water falling aground

Cannot be stopped by any sword

Even no scar is caused

A brand-new spring will foster brand-new twigs

And autumn will find me flowery again

Each blossom is ablaze with my inner fire

And my mission is to be a tree

That shrinks and prospers alternately

That is humble and noble simultaneously

To report myself to the land

To report myself to the high sky

作者簡介

白水河, 本名焦海麗?，F(xiàn)居美國。詩作發(fā)表于海內(nèi)外報(bào)刊雜志，出版有雙語詩集《風(fēng)的長廊》(王昌玲譯）。

Bai Shui He，official name Jiao Haili, lives in the United States. Her works have been published in newspapers and magazines at home and abroad, and she has published a bilingual collection of poems A Breezy Corridor of Life (translated by Wang Changling).

譯者簡介

王昌玲七星譯詩社之天璇星，任職于安徽師范大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院。熱愛翻譯，發(fā)表漢語雜文英譯數(shù)篇，出版合譯著數(shù)部；兩次獲得韓素音翻譯大賽漢譯英之優(yōu)秀獎(2009, 2018)。座右銘：我譯，故我在。詩觀：詩，是靈魂的救贖。

Wang Changling, alias Celestial Gem of Seven Stars Poetry Translation Society, teaches at the School of Foreign Studies, Anhui Normal University. Much into translation, she has published several English versions of Chinese essays and co-translated several books. She has been awarded twice for Excellent C/E Translation in Han Suyin Award for Young Translators (2009, 2018), and awarded the first prize for C/E Translation in the First Straits English Contest (2010). Her motto: I translate, therefore I am. To her, poetry is what redeems the soul.
