Quietly, I enjoy my peaceful life—
My poetic life,
Turning pages of a book sleepily,
And listening to oldies leisurely.
Or walking slowly along a pond after rain,
To listen to the words from my heart silently.
In the real and simple years of my life,
I hold happiness to myself,
“Keep the words of my heart alone,
As a bunch of lonely fragrant flowers .“
I think
My life in the world
Is for nothing else
But for the tangible warmth
In such warmth,
As it held many wonderful days,
Which I felt intoxicated, and felt painful too,
And I will never forget
In my whole life.

Profile of David Haotian Dai
David Haotian Dai graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a BA degree in English language and literature. Following graduation, he worked as an English Translator for years. He used to be department head at the translation department of China Europe International Business School. In his spare time, he created poems in English and in Chinese upon inspiration He is gifted with philosophical thoughts and poems. His philosophical poems—“Love Talks Louder than Money”
won a merit award in international poetry contest; his poem—“Smiles are the Best Cosmetics was included in the “Sound of Poetry”CD narrated by an American radio announcer. And his philosophical poetry book—“The Cry of Wisdom” was published by Amazon Digital Publishing Company.
David Haotian Dai earned an MBA degree in USA and founded ChinaUScommerce.com. Currently, he is President of Peace, Love and Dream Art Foundation.

Ying Deng-Klein is a cultural celebrity, and well-known social activist. Currently, she takes various positions at a number of poets organizations such as member of China-Europe Cross Cultural Writers Association, director at Hong Kong Poets League, honorary vice chairwoman at the Hong Kong Celebrities and Gurus League, executive editor at the International United News Journal, executive chairwoman at the World Poetry General Association, member of European-Chinese Poetry Society, vice-president at the International Lyrical Poem Society, honorary president at the Beautiful Scenery and Peaceful Heart Literature Society, and member of the Phoenix Poetry Society Europe, etc.
She has been engaged in cultural and art activities and worked at diplomatic agency abroad for long. She is popular for her works, which are as beautiful as she is amicable. At present, she resides in Germany.
