那是很久，很久以前的事情了，
在臨海的一個王國里。
有一位少女，或許你也熟悉：
她的芳名就叫安娜貝爾?麗。
這少女，她活著再無別的秘密，
除了愛我，還有為我所愛的期許。
那時我少不經(jīng)事，她也未脫稚氣，
在這臨海的王國里。
然而我們相愛，以超乎愛意的愛意。
我們相愛，我與我的安娜貝爾?麗——
那份愛意，即便天使生著六翼，
也對我們覬覦，以至妒忌不已。
也就是因為這個緣故了，很久以前，
在這臨海的王國里。
一股寒流自云間吹起，
凍歿了我美麗的安娜貝爾?麗。
結(jié)果來了她出身名門的親戚，
就在我的身旁，帶著她離我遠去。
后來，她便被埋沒在一處荒地，
在這臨海的王國里。
天使們不及，我們一半的歡愉，
不然，何以對我們心生妒意？
是的！就是因為這一緣故！——
（誰人不知悉？在這臨海的王國里。）
才有那股寒流起自云間，在夜里，
讓我失去，失去我的安娜貝爾?麗。
可是我們的愛是如此強烈無比——
為那般成人的愛所望塵莫及；
亦非所謂智者之愛可以比擬。
所以管他是天使——他們徜徉在天際；
還是鬼魅——他們蟄居于海底，
誰也無法讓我的心魂稍事遠離，
遠離于我美麗的安娜貝爾?麗——
因為每逢月華普照大地，都讓我夢及，
夢及我美麗的安娜貝爾?麗；
每當群星升起于天際，都讓我想起，
想起有雙明眸屬于，我美麗的安娜貝爾?麗。
——就這樣，竟夕長夜過去，
我始終與其比鄰而居躺在一起；
和我的心愛，我的至愛我的生命我的新娘在一起。
就在她那臨海的孤墳里；
在喧囂的海濱的墓穴里。

A wind blew out of a cloud，chilling

The angels，not half so happy in the heaven，
Went envying her and me
Yes！That was the reason（as all men know，
in this kingdom by the sea）
That the wind came out of the cloud by night，
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above，
Nor the demons down under the sea，
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
