水手
劉延陵
月在天上
船在海上，
他兩只手捧住面孔，
躲在擺舵的黑暗地方。
他怕見月兒眨眼，
海兒掀浪，
引他看水天接處的故鄉(xiāng)。
但他卻想到了
石榴花開得鮮明的井旁，
那人兒正架竹子，
曬她的青布衣裳。
The Seaman
LIU Yanling

The moon is in the sky, see
The boat is at sea,
A seaman holds his face in his two hands,
Hiding in the dark place the rudder stands.
He is afraid of the moon’s blinking eyes,
And the sea waves arise,
Leading him to see his hometown where
the water meets the sky there.
But it reminds him of a well bright
By which the bloom of pomegranate is smiling at the site,
The man is putting up the bamboo pole,
Drying the girl’s clothes of green cloth in the sun glow.

【譯后小記】
劉延陵的這首新詩，是一首帶韻的自由詩。詩歌借景畫人，使景中有物。原詩的韻法是隔行韻（ang）。我的英譯是采用對句韻，每兩行押一個隨韻。英詩讀起來有一種抑揚(yáng)頓挫節(jié)奏之感，沒有更多的花哨及華麗的辭藻。

Ren Chenggang（1958-）, Professor of English, College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University; Guest Professor of Dianchi College, Yunnan University; In March 2022, he won the Outstanding Contribution Award of Poetry Translation, with faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance; the first prize in the 16th Global “100-Translators,100-Trans versions” , He is an executive editor in Poetry Hall; Vice president of Overseas Phoenix Poetry Translation Society. In New Year Eve of 2023 he has obtained excellent English translator and poetry modifier.
