喜慶龍年新春，共建和諧家園 Celebrating?the?Loong Year! Building Harmony Safe Together
——“三團(tuán)”春晚圓滿成功舉辦

春風(fēng)春日春浩蕩，龍年龍日龍吉祥。2024年2月25日，由加拿大高校文學(xué)社，加拿大聲納藝術(shù)中心，高校鼓樂團(tuán)三家姊妹社團(tuán)聯(lián)袂主辦，由東楓彩多元文化藝術(shù)團(tuán)協(xié)辦的“喜慶龍年新春，共建和諧家園”的龍年新春晚會(huì)在多倫多萬錦社區(qū)中心隆重舉辦，社區(qū)居民、三團(tuán)會(huì)員、各兄弟社團(tuán)負(fù)責(zé)人及市議員150多人參加了本次活動(dòng)，萬錦市長(zhǎng)薛家平發(fā)來了賀信。約克區(qū)議員何胡景，萬錦市第八區(qū)議員李思韻親臨晚會(huì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)送上新年祝福并觀看演出。
With the gentle spring breeze and the abundant sunshine of spring for New Loong Year, On February 25, 2024, , Canadian Literary Association of Higher Education（CLAHE）, Canada Sonar Performing Arts, and the Alumni Drum Troupe, three sister organizations, join hands to wholeheartedly present this "Celebrating Loong Year, Building Harmony Safe Together" New Year's celebration performance. Over 150 community residents, members of the three organizations, leaders of various brotherhood societies, and city councillors participated in this event. Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti sent a congratulatory letter. York Region Councillor Alan Ho and Ward 8 Councillor Isa Lee of Markham personally attended the event, extending New Year wishes and enjoying the performances.
本次晚會(huì)得到了約克區(qū)政府反對(duì)暴力，平安社區(qū)基金B(yǎng)reaking Violence Fund 的大力支持，這次的節(jié)目以自創(chuàng)自編自導(dǎo)自演為主，充分體現(xiàn)“共建和諧家園”特色。參加演出的有天真活潑的小學(xué)生，有老當(dāng)益壯的長(zhǎng)者，更有年富力強(qiáng)的中年人。節(jié)目豐富多彩，有鼓有舞，有說有唱，合唱獨(dú)唱、獨(dú)舞群舞，吹拉彈奏、舞臺(tái)劇等，盡顯演員們的才華和魅力。尤其是將文學(xué)藝術(shù)與音樂表演相融合，趣味橫生，精彩紛呈。
This event received strong support from the York Region government “Breaking Violence” Fund of the Safe Community. The program features self-created, self-written, self-directed, and self-performed acts, fully embodying the theme of "Building a Harmonious Home." The participants include lively and innocent elementary school students, spirited seniors, and energetic middle-aged individuals. The program is diverse, featuring drumming, dancing, storytelling, singing, group and solo performances, instrumental acts, stage plays, and more, showcasing a wealth of talent and charm. Particularly noteworthy is the fusion of literary arts with musical performances, creating an entertaining and spectacular display.

這是一場(chǎng)充滿喜慶和活力的晚會(huì)，晚會(huì)在歡快的鑼鼓聲中拉開帷幕，由文學(xué)社理事陳剛和岳紅用中英雙語主持。三家社團(tuán)的負(fù)責(zé)人楊海軍、韓麗和陳云章分別發(fā)表了簡(jiǎn)短而溫馨的晚會(huì)致辭。
過去的一年，無論是面對(duì)風(fēng)霜雨雪還是荊棘坎坷，三家社團(tuán)同心協(xié)力，團(tuán)結(jié)合作，在困難面前能攜手前行，共同創(chuàng)造出一片和諧的文化氛圍。這場(chǎng)晚會(huì)不僅僅是一次文藝表演，更是三個(gè)社團(tuán)共建和諧社區(qū)的具體行動(dòng)，同時(shí)也展現(xiàn)了他們團(tuán)結(jié)友愛、積極向上的風(fēng)采。

This was a lively and festive evening, which kicked off with cheerful drumbeats. The event was hosted bilingually by Chen Gang and Yue Hong, directors of the Literary Society. The leaders of the three associations, Yang Haijun, Han Li, and Chen Yunzhang, respectively delivered brief and heartfelt speeches during the event.
Over the past year, whether facing wind, frost, rain, or thorns, the three associations have worked together with one heart and one mind, uniting and cooperating. In the face of difficulties, they have been able to join hands and move forward, creating a harmonious cultural atmosphere together. This event is not just an artistic performance, but also a concrete action for the three associations to jointly build a harmonious community, demonstrating their unity, friendliness, and positive spirit.

The three-hour event concluded amidst the joyful laughter and cheers of everyone. It was a unique and splendid "Three-Troupe" celebration and collaboration. The organization and coordination were well-executed, logistical support was robust, volunteers collaborated seamlessly, the program quality was excellent, and the lucky draw prizes were abundant. We express sincere gratitude to literary enthusiasts for their active participation and support, heartfelt thanks to friends who generously sponsored and provided prizes. Special appreciation goes to the meticulous planning by the event organizing team, the heartfelt performances by the actors, and the silent dedication of the volunteer colleagues, all of which contributed to the resounding success of our gala. 本次活動(dòng)特別值得一提的是加拿大高校文學(xué)社首次推出舞臺(tái)系列劇《反欺凌！共建美好明天！》，自從今年一月底確切得到約克區(qū)政府基金之后，加拿大高校文學(xué)社負(fù)責(zé)這個(gè)項(xiàng)目的陳剛理事迅速行動(dòng)起來，在全體理事會(huì)成員大力協(xié)助下，在一個(gè)月之內(nèi)進(jìn)行了征文，征求舞臺(tái)劇劇本，排練等等系列準(zhǔn)備。征求舞臺(tái)劇本得到了社會(huì)各界包括年輕人在內(nèi)的非常積極的響應(yīng)，在短短15天之內(nèi)一共征集到了20部劇本，其中包括了幾個(gè)大學(xué)年輕大學(xué)生們的創(chuàng)作作品，文學(xué)社迅速投入到排練之中，所有參加演出的演職人員在極短的時(shí)間內(nèi)完成了由布蘭登大學(xué)心理系教授，東北師范大學(xué)加拿大校友會(huì)創(chuàng)會(huì)及名譽(yù)會(huì)長(zhǎng)蘇暢博士創(chuàng)作的這臺(tái)針對(duì)華人新冠歧視，學(xué)校霸凌，應(yīng)對(duì)策略的“反欺凌，共建美好明天”的舞臺(tái)劇，現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演出非常成功！高校文學(xué)社也將在以后的幾年里陸續(xù)推出多部?jī)?yōu)秀舞臺(tái)劇。
Especially noteworthy is the Canadian Literary Association of Higher Education(CLAHE in short)’s inaugural series of stage plays, "Anti-bullying! Building a Better Tomorrow!" Ever since securing funding from the York Region government at the end of January this year, Chen Gang, the director responsible for this project at CLAHE, took prompt action. With the strong assistance of all council members, they conducted solicited stage play scripts, and undertook rehearsals within a month. The call for stage play scripts received a highly positive response from various sectors of society, including enthusiastic participation from young people. In a short 15 days, they successfully collected a total of 20 outstanding scripts, including works from young university students across different campuses.
CLAHE swiftly immersed itself in rehearsals and, in an exceptionally short period, completed the stage play titled "Anti-bullying, Building a Better Tomorrow." This play, authored by Dr. Su Chang, a professor in the Psychology Department at Brandon University and the founding and honorary president of the Northeast Normal University Alumni Association of Canada, addresses anti-Chinese discrimination during the COVID-19 pandemic, school bullying, and response strategies. The live performance was very successful! CLAHE plans to gradually showcase the best stage plays over the coming years.
