當我還只是小女孩時 媽媽總是哄我入睡很準時，
為此她開始 為我讀起睡前故事。
故事總是事關一位公主 其已身處無助，
然后王子如何將其解救 而故事悉數(shù) 以完美落幕。
我則床上躺臥并且思索 未來我想成為什么角色。
有一天我終于懂得 那種童話生活 并非為我而設。
我不想像灰姑娘那么生活 昏暗破舊地下室枯坐，
望眼欲穿盼著 有人或可 前來解救我；
我也不想像白雪公主那么等待著——
等待著 一個英俊王子騎著白馬 或可前來拯救我，
除非我們可平起平坐。
不想依附其他任何一個 我寧可 自行救贖自我。
終有一天我將覓得那一個——
我的靈魂我的真心我的思想 他皆認可；
他可毫不畏縮 向世人展露他有多么愛我；
他將可懂得 只有保持自我 我才可感到真正快樂，
不需要任何人去做 呵護我的角色。
我為他挺身而出毫不遜色 恰如他挺身而出為我；
當我交付自我 他則也只得交付自我 平分秋色。

譯者簡介：
韓崇文，中國翻譯協(xié)會專家會員，中國詩歌學會會員，遼寧葫蘆島市作家協(xié)會會員、市文藝理論評論家協(xié)會會員、市音樂家協(xié)會會員，《中國雨巷有聲頻道》作家團隊成員。正高級職稱，碩研學歷、本科畢業(yè)于復旦大學。
業(yè)余從事歌曲翻譯與文學翻譯，迄今已譯介140余首國外經(jīng)典歌曲與詩歌。譯作散見于“好詩如風”“遼之河”“英語口語交流”等微信公眾號以及抖音“國外經(jīng)典歌曲精譯”（抖音號:tanxiaojian684），還曾被“英語世界”“商務印書館英語編輯室”等公眾號收錄。
