Have you ever heard of singing sands? It's not something mystical. After all, in this vast world, there are all sorts of wonders. When the wind blows, the sand makes a sound, and when the sand dunes pile up like mountains, it's called Mingsha (Singing Sands) Mountain.

Dunhuang's Mingsha Mountain is one of the magical and splendid tourist attractions along the Silk Road, located in the transitional zone between the Badain Jaran Desert and the Kumtag Desert. The sand grains are sparkling and translucent, completely pristine, and what's more, they come in five different colors: red, yellow, blue, white, and black.

The sand dunes take various forms, resembling crescent moons linked together to form sand chains, towering like pyramids with edges and corners, or stretching like a long slumbering snake that seems to reach the sky. The unique feature of singing sands at Mingsha Mountain adds another layer of mystery to Dunhuang, making it a sought-after destination for tourists.
