National Humiliation: September 18th Incident
By Huanongnong (Shangguan)
September 18th, 2025, Beijing
At Willow Strip Pass, beacons blaze in urgency,
The Japanese threat has long been plotted with great stealth.
Red flags call out to drive away the invading foe,
Yet the central authority cowers, fearing the attack.
A "non-resistance" order is issued by the commander,
The three armed forces lay down their arms and armor.
Weapons are abandoned on the Liao River plains,
Cities and towns fall, left to the enemy's slaughter.
Lonely sentinels fight like mantises against a cart,
Smoke of war stains the forests red with blood.
In thirty days, half the land is conquered,
False flags are hoisted, heavy with shame and dread.
Japanese officials seize power and control,
Traitors thrive under the invader's ruthless reign.
Currency runs wild, people's lives are in misery,
Books are burned, historical traces silenced and slain.
Coal from the mountains is shipped to foreign lands,
Grain fields are poisoned, spreading far and wide.
Brave bones fill the mine shafts, cold and dark,
Children lose their elegant mother tongue, pushed aside.
Internal strife drains the nation's vital strength,
Foreign aggression melts away the nation's gold.
National humiliation stems from corrupt power,
People's sorrows rise because generals stay silent and cold.
Fortunately, there are loyal patriots who stand tall,
Their sharp blades pierce the invader's cruel heart.
Jingyu dines on ice and grass to keep fighting on,
Shangzhi plucks out the enemy's hairpin, playing his part.
Fourteen years of war smoke finally fade away,
Thousands of martyrs' bones forge a historical lesson.
Japan tries to rewrite the past and deny the truth,
But ironclad evidence will never sink or be forgotten.
The law of the jungle—強者 prey on the weak,
Rise and fall of nations offer lessons for all time.
Forever remember September 18th, the day of shame,
The alarm bell rings, striking deep into our bones and mind.
We pursue national rejuvenation, bearing the humiliation's teachings,
With loyal hearts and courage, we safeguard our nation and people.
