登遠眺，
象獅撲舞，

九百山河重壯志，
五千竹簡凝新血。

青瓦雨煙中，

海圖志，
摩日月。
師島技，
為圭臬。
炷光穿迷霧，
跨疆超越。
疏影風(fēng)吹一浪皺，
扶桑雨抱千堆雪。
睜眼看世界，
海吞辰，
還天玥。
注 1 : 魏源故居院后有一條金水河，獅山、象山分立兩岸。
注 2 : 梅花曾經(jīng)是中國的國花。
注 3 :《海國圖志》對我國的洋務(wù)運動產(chǎn)生了影響，傳到日本，催生了明治維新。

風(fēng)雨瀟瀟，群山繞、魏源故闕。
Whistling of wind and pattering of rain ,
Wei Yuan's pavilion is ringed with mountains .
登遠眺，象獅撲舞，碧潭沉玦。
Ascending and overlooking ,
I see that like elephant a mountain flaps and like lion a mountain dances across from the river ;
I see that green pool flashes like a jade ring with a small segment cut off down to the bottom of water .
九百山河重壯志，五千竹簡凝新血。
Mountains and rivers of nine million six hundred thousand quare kilometers would be had lofty ambition again ;
Bamboo slip of five thousand years would be agglomerated fresh blood .
驀回首，青瓦雨煙中，悲無徹。
When all at once I turn my head to see grey tiles in the rain and mist ,
I am grieved infinitely .
海圖志，摩日月。
Maps of seas was described by Wei Yuan ,
Aglare light of work close to the sun and moon .
師島技，為圭臬。
Learning overseas technology was the criterion .
炷光穿迷霧，跨疆超越。
Candlelight pierced through the dense fog to cross boundaries .
疏影風(fēng)吹一浪皺，扶桑雨抱千堆雪。
The wind ruffled only a wave wrinkle in sparse shadow of plum blossoms ;
The rain embraced a thousand heaps of snow at hibiscus .
睜眼看世界，海吞辰，還天玥。
Opened his eyes to see the world ;
Sea swallowed the stars ;
The divine pearl would be returned .
Note 1 : The former residence of Wei Yuan has a Golden Water River behind its courtyard , with Lion Mountain and Elephant Mountain standing on opposite banks .
Note 2 : Plum blossom was once the national flower of China .
Note 3 : 《 The Illustrated Treatise on Maritime Nations 》 influenced China's Westernization Movement ( 洋務(wù)運動 ) , was introduced to Japan , and contributed to the Meiji Restoration ( 明治維新 ) .
Note 4 : This ci poem is composed according to the 18 _ part rhyme system of 《 Cilin Zhengyun 》 ( 《 詞林正韻 》 ) , and the format is Yue Fei's 《 Man Jiang Hong . Expressing My Feeling 》 .
