【譯者簡(jiǎn)介】盛坤，本名羅圣慶。原哈爾濱醫(yī)科大學(xué)公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院教授，現(xiàn)居住于溫哥華。文學(xué)愛(ài)好者，加拿大文思多元文化協(xié)會(huì)理事，加拿大中華詩(shī)詞學(xué)會(huì)、大華筆會(huì)和華人詩(shī)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員。
作者簡(jiǎn)介：她是一位多產(chǎn)的詩(shī)人兼記者。出生于威斯康辛州約翰斯頓。十幾歲時(shí)，便在刊物上發(fā)表詩(shī)作。22歲時(shí)出版第一本書(shū)《水滴》（1872），她的詩(shī)集《激情詩(shī)篇》（1883）在短短兩年內(nèi)就售出6萬(wàn)冊(cè)，以后又有許多著作問(wèn)世，于1919年逝世。
