話說閻應(yīng)元抗清

閻應(yīng)元者，江陰典史也。明崇禎十七年，京師陷，烈皇帝殉社稷。未幾，清師南下，檄至江陰，命士民剃發(fā)。滿城嘩然，耆老慟哭于明倫堂前。應(yīng)元時已卸任，居于砂山，聞之推案而起，裂衣為誓曰：“頭可斷，發(fā)不可剃；身可焚，城不可降！”遂單騎入城，眾推為帥。
當(dāng)是時，江陰蕞爾小城，戶不盈萬，墻垣頹敗。清軍提督劉良佐率十萬眾圍之，以紅衣大炮轟西門。應(yīng)元登城撫垛，矢石雨下而不避。取筆題門樓曰：“八十日帶發(fā)效忠，表太祖十七朝人物；十萬人同心死義，留大明三百里江山?！币拱肓钔痈柙牢淠隆稘M江紅》，聲激云霄，守軍皆泣而礪刃。
閏六月初八至八月廿一，凡八十一日。城中糧盡，掘鼠羅雀；箭竭，以蘆稈削尖為兵。清軍屢樹降旗，應(yīng)元挽強弓射之，旗折三易。/百姓獻家釀，應(yīng)元傾酒于地，指北而誓：“此身可碎，此志不磨！”會中秋月明，攜老卒數(shù)人登敵樓，吹胡笳至裂，清營聞之皆掩涕。
廿一日城破，應(yīng)元乘瘦馬馳巷戰(zhàn)，手刃三騎。至棲霞禪院，見壁上文信國《正氣歌》，仰天長嘯，以佩劍刻“血濺孤城八十日，赤心永照大明土”于柱。力竭被執(zhí)，挺立不跪。劉良佐持酒勸曰：“公若降，宰輔可期。”應(yīng)元唾其面曰：“典史雖微，亦知忠義。豈若汝輩鬻發(fā)求榮乎！”引佩帶自絞，不死；奪刀刺胸，血書“江陰義民”于壁而絕，年四十有二。
是役也，城廂死者六萬七千余，無一人降。清軍折將二十四，損卒七萬五千。野史氏曰：夫閻公一介微吏，無熊虎之師，無金湯之固，唯以浩然之氣激揚閭閻。當(dāng)其振臂一呼，販夫織婦皆化貔貅，稚子老翁俱成甲兵。昔田橫五百猶存海島之憾，江陰十萬竟全忠烈之名。今觀金陵梅花嶺上，衣冠冢畔猶聞風(fēng)雷之聲；古運河邊，每至秋深尚見霞如凝血。豈非正氣長存，歷劫不滅者耶？后之覽者，當(dāng)思此竹帛丹心，猶在天地呼吸之間。

Huang Qingbao, born in 1939, is a member of the Communist Party of China. His native place is Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, and he now resides in Shanghai City. He is a certification committee member of the Member Archive Database of the Chinese Poets and Writers Network, a certified poet and contracted poet of the Chinese Poets and Writers Network, a contracted writer and poet of the Red Lotus Literary Poetry Society, a contracted writer and poet of the World Writers' Lanyunfu Poetry Society, and the chief editor of the Chinese Poets and Writers Network. He has created more than a thousand pieces of prose, novels, and poems, which have been published on online platforms and newspapers and periodicals such as the Chinese Poets and Writers Network. He has won the Excellence Award of the First Feng Chusheng International Poetry Competition, the Outstanding Literature Award for Poets Contracted by the Five Academicians, the Strength Literature Award of the Golden Poetry Starlight Cup, the Chief Editor's Excellence Award of the Chinese Poets and Writers Network, and the Highest Honor Award for Leading Figures in Literature by the World Poetry Association · Chinese Poets and Writers. Currently, he is the executive chief editor of the Chinese Poets and Writers Network.
